Iowa's #17!  In February 2008, Governor Chet Culver rejected federal funding for the state’s abstinence-only education program under Title V of the Social Security Act. Iowa became the 17th state to reject federal funding and this will become effective starting Fiscal Year 2009. More Details >

Applicants must be committed to medically accurate, science-based approaches to adolescent pregnancy prevention, parenting, and sexual health education.
